This short guide from Netdata Learn will show you how to set up Netdata, an open-source metrics visualization and system monitoring application. The steps are quick and easy to get it running from the FreeBSD ports repository, but the output is a robust performance and monitoring tool with data on how almost every hardware component is functioning on your system. Check out the link below for the instructions.

Install from ports/packages

You can install Netdata from either the ports or packages collections. To install from packages:

# pkg install netdata

You also need to enable the netdata service in /etc/rc.conf (add netdata_enable="YES") and start the service:

# service netdata start
