11. SysAdm™ Client
Beginning with TrueOS® 11, most of the system management utilities that were previously available in the PC-BSD® Control Panel have been rewritten to use the SysAdm™ API. This API is designed to make it easy to manage any FreeBSD or TrueOS® desktop or server system over a secure connection from any operating system that has the SysAdm™ application installed. SysAdm™ is built into TrueOS®, but downloadable packages for other operating systems are available from the SysAdm Website.
By default, SysAdm™ does not allow for remote access to the system. Please review the SysAdm™ server handbook for instructions on initializing the remote access elements of SysAdm™.
